In 2022, she was honored with the prestigious Boston Business Journal's Women Who Mean Business award and is a prominent thought leader in corporate culture and talent acquisition, featured in Fast Company, Medium, and NPR's Marketplace.
Michelle holds a graduate degree from Harvard University and an undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame.
Her favorite things in life are adventurous travels with her family, being outside with her two rescue pups, and lots of yoga.
Reem
Co-Founder & CPO of MomUp.
Reem Papageorgiou's superpower is people. Having emigrated from Lebanon at a young age, she learned to navigate the challenges of a new world quickly and her love of the intersection of culture and humanity was born. With her expertise in training and development, Reem spearheads the team that optimizes the process for connecting job seekers to well matched organizations.
Reem received a dual Master’s degree in Social Work and Public Health from Boston University. Following her social work career, Reem worked as both an intercultural trainer and training consultant to non and for profit businesses, health care organizations and municipalities. Reem has published several articles centered around workplace development and company culture and is a well-known public speaker centered around the power of moms.
Katie
Senior Recruitment Manager
Katie Jafarli has always possessed a love for creating connections and opportunities. Before joining MomUp, she spent over a decade working for a large non-profit study abroad and intercultural exchange organization. During this time, she developed important relationships with educational institutions and employers, which created valuable study and work experiences for students.
Katie holds a B.A. in English and Communication from the University of Maine. Her strong interpersonal communication skills are essential in her work discovering amazing talent. She brings her genuine love for seeing people succeed to her role at MomUp.
Janelle
VP of Strategic Partnerships
Janelle Woodfall has a passion for creating community and authentic connections. Prior to joining MomUp, Janelle spent years working for large technology and engineering companies where she worked in the fields of aviation, electrical protection and solar. It was during this time that Janelle saw firsthand the number of women leaving the corporate workforce mid-career, a decision she ultimately made herself shortly after the birth of her second child.
It was at this time that Janelle’s curiosity was born about how to harness all the brainpower of these amazingly smart women and how to connect them to businesses who value work/life balance and the contributions women in leadership bring to organizations.
Janelle holds an MBA from Bentley University and a BS from WPI.
