Our client is looking for a passionate Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team and play a key role in bringing their next-generation cleantech product to market.

‍

Responsibilities:

• Participate in all stages of the product development lifecycle, from concept design and prototyping to manufacturing and production support

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical engineers, software engineers, sales, marketing and manufacturing operations.  Strong interpersonal skills and excellent cross functional organization communication is critical.  This role will work extensively within a fast paced and dynamic team.  

• Stay up-to-date on the latest innovations in cleantech including the participation in various industry organizations

• Prepare and maintain detailed engineering documentation

• Collaborate with manufacturing partners to make decisions regarding operational activity and strategic business milestones and goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in mechanical engineering design within manufacturing operations.

• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles

• Proficiency in using CAD software

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Passion for cleantech and sustainability

Bonus Points:

• MBA or Masters Degree in a related field.

• Experience in the cleantech industry

• Excited by the prospect to contribute significantly to a start up culture

• Experience with 3D printing or additive manufacturing
